Hi Everyone,
As many of you have heard next week I'm having a guild get together. The people who are going are most of the people who run the raids. Jron, Viv and I won't be around. Ilthel is in Hong Kong for a few weeks. The other people who will be off next week are Nev, Dooz, Brach, Hana, Pandemic, hopefully Sherri and Manute will be visiting some. Kamana is on vacation. SOOOO what does this mean for raiding. There are still a lot of you, so if someone is willing to try to lead a raid even something like ZA, Gruuls, Mags, or SSC please feel free to do so. Just let me know so I can let people know in the GMOD and on the website.

Week of August 12th
WEEKLY RAIDING SCHEDULE
Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone had a great week while I was away. The expansion is getting nearer and so I plan on continuing to raid 3 to 4 days a week and working on new bosses until it comes out. My expectations are realistic and fun is still my primary goal...I would really like to try and down archimonde and clear mh but I'm also up to doing some fun stuff like farming some trash in sunwell and working on some bosses in BT. Either way, I love raiding with you guys so I will continue running raids as long as we have the group to go.
I had a blast tonight in Hyjal...you guys did great.

Hi Everyone,
This is addressed to our primary/alt 25 man raiders. I tried speaking in person to as many people as I could last night because I want the feedback about the following post to be honest and not feel like you have to agree because others will. It is important that if any of the following bothers you that you talk to me or Jron about it.
After thinking about this for a long time and realizing that we might have a real chance at getting a few more bosses down in BT as well as clearing MH, we need to make sure our tanks are geared. We are approaching the boss fights that require not just skill but gear. We have amazing tanks and healers that have carried us much farther then I think we were meant to go, but I believe we are about to hit a wall. Archimonde hits plate for 9k alone and there are plenty of fights in BT that require a level of gear to get through.
So I have spoken with Scubascuba and Sarikrahl to let them know I would like to gear them up and their commitment to raiding with us in MH and BT. They are of course very committed to helping us progress and understand that by gearing them both up they are helping overall progression and the raid. I asked them for a list of the pieces they need until they can get their T6 pieces. I am also going to gear Tashlan up as well...he doesn't know this yet
, but Scuba will be our MT and will get gear first but I want Tashlan and of course Sarik to also have priority on tanking pieces and T5/T6. They will still SK for things to show the history of what they receive.
The immediate needs for both of them is as follows:
Scubascuba needs T5 chest off of Kael, tanking cloak off of trash in MH and the Shield off of Kaz'rogal. There was something in BT too...I think bracers.
Sarikrahl needs his T5 helm off of Vashj and the neckpiece off of Kael.
Of course we have to get the bosses down and the tokens need to drop but I wanted them to be very specific and look at what will boost their stats in order to get us through MH and BT. I also am going to ask that they get their T6 gear first.
Most people I have spoken to about this understood why this needs to be done...without geared tanks we won't get very far and if we wait for them to get gear using the SK list it will take forever for them to get their items. I really don't care about loot, I care about getting bosses down before the expansion comes out. I actually accomplished the most important goal I had in this game, betting down Vashj and Kael...now everything is icing on the cake to me. I know my gear won't matter once the expansion is out, so unless my dps is too low for me to do the job in BT then I really don't care about gear. The T6 tokens are different from the T5 tokens so the classes most impacted would be priests, locks, shamans and hunters.
My biggest concern has never been about loot, for me it was always a risk in a casual raiding guild to put to much into a few players and they possibly leave or have real life stuff come up. There are no guarantees that anyone will stay in the guild and yes we could invest in someone and have them ditch, but I don't think that will happen. Real life stuff of course can happen and that can't be help. I am very confident in putting my faith in the our tanks and tbh if we lost our main tanks right now we would be screwed anyway

I want everyone to feel free to post feedback about this post and not worry about voicing your concerns. If you don't want to post your concerns feel free to pst Jron or myself and we can discuss this with you over vent.
I don't think this will be a big deal for most people but I like to be upfront and out in the open with this stuff. Scuba, Sarik and Tash have a lot of pressure on them to get the job done....let's help ease their burden some.

P.S. Although Theilm is not a main tank, Citra an alt and Dente raids part-time, I would pass on the T6 tokens for them because in my mind it benefits the overall raid to let them get geared before me. I felt the same about the T5 tokens and I passed so that our key healing pallies/shammies and sarik could get them first. Food for thought.

Not many people realize exactly how much work Dev puts into this guild. We’re trying to shift some of the burden off of her onto the other officers so she can enjoy the game too. What we want to do is have her continue to lead and plan as she’s been doing and has served us so well while I take on the mundane day to day running of the guild with her support. The last thing we want is for Dev to burn out or for this game to become anymore of a job and we loose the best guild leader in the game.
It’s annoying to log on and have 12 million whispers, especially when you’re trying to form a raid group or do something else. The only whispers Dev should be getting before a raid are whispers along the lines of “Ready for invite if you need me.” So we’re going to please ask that you not go to Dev with your questions/concerns/problems.
Class questions please talk to your class leaders, they are:
Priests – Aria for holy/dic Brach for shadow
Paladins – Adenawar, Jron or Wendon for holy, Sarik or Nam for Prot.
Warlocks – Jron
Warriors – Scuba, Tash or East for prot, Koruul for dps
Shaman – Wendon for enhance, Nam for elemental or Shockmonkey/Nam for resto
Mage – Shay or Jud
Druid – Ilth
Rogues – Iberiko or Nam
Hunters – East or Jron
Questions, concerns, comments regarding raiding should be directed to either Viv or Jron depending on which raid group you’re talking about. Viv is 100% in charge of her group and has our full support in what she does, please do not insult her by going over her head and coming straight to Dev and I as we will simply send you back to her.
General questions about the guild, applications, complaints, etc should be directed to me, I will either directly deal with them or pass them on to Dev as need be PLEASE do not go straight to Dev, she has enough on her plate.

A quick note on where we’re looking to go with progression now that we have Vashj and Kael down guys. They were our goal for Bliss to kill before the next expansion, we seem to have done that no problem. Now that we’ve got them a lot of people have been asking Dev and I where we’re going next and when we’re doing what, etc. In general for the progression raid group what we want to do for the moment in order is:
-Kill Kael again for people who weren’t there the frist time, ideally kill him twice more.
-Clear MH
-Start on BT
Ideally we’d like to clear MH before we start seriously on BT as there are a lot of tank/healer upgrades in MH as well as 2 pieces of T6. BT will probably start either next week or the following week. Once we get Kael down again this week what we hope to go to is MH farm bosses/progression bosses on Wednesday, BT on Thursday and MH progression on Mondays, sticking to our standard 3 day a week raid schedule. We’d ask people to review the last 2 bosses of MH as well as the first couple bosses of BT. Please have a look at the loot tables and get a general idea of what you want as well.
While this is going on Viv’s farm group will be settling into steady SSC/TK raiding for people who still need gear from those instances. We encourage people from the progression group to help out the farm group when they need.
For the immediate future;
-Dev will be away the week of Aug 3rd, I will be leading the progression raids in her place.
-The Bliss guild meet will happen the week of Aug 17, there will probably be no progression raiding this week. (

Please keep this in mind when you consider our progression guys. Bliss is, and always has been #1 about fun, fun for everyone. Progression is has always been a back burner thing for us. We founded this guild to get away from people like that and guilds like that. You need to look at yourself and decide what you want out of the game. Dev and I are here to have fun and make friends, we know this is going to hamper our progression, we understand that and are ok with that. If you’re all about progression then we’re never going to be fast enough for you and we’ll both be happy and have no ill will towards you if you find another guild that has what you want.
Asking people to sit out for Kael was one of the hardest things Dev has had to do in this game and we don’t really want to do that again, it’s a lot more fun to grab people you enjoy playing with and kill stuff. Raids should be 25 people having fun in a raid, that’s it.
Bliss has shown me one thing. As we’ve progressed Dev and I have been told we’re not mean enough, you can’t progress and be friends with everyone. You can’t base a good guild on niceness and friendship. Monday night we proved them wrong, if a group of care-bears can down Kael, Bliss can do anything being exactly the way we want to.

Hi Everyone,
I wasn't expecting to down two new bosses last night in Mt. Hyjal, so I'm sorry for posting the following strats so late for tonight.
Trash for Azgalor is supposed to be quite difficult to stay on top of, so we need to make sure to keep our dps high and consistent. I spoke with a friend from another guild who has downed Azgalor and he feels it is the toughest fight in Mount Hyjal. We went to Mount Hyjal last night and he showed me the positioning his guild used for both Azgalor and Archimonde.
My expectations are realistic that tonight won't be a walk in the park like last night seemed to be. It is so important to read the strats and watch the videos.
